I've been interested in sound since I was 5 years old, strumming the springy doorstops to harmonize with the sound of helicopters overhead. My recent work includes large-scale sound sculptures and installations with Flux Factory in NYC and Budapest and smaller interactive sound sculptures in New York, Philadelphia, Berkeley, and Brussels. I teach a class at Parsons School of Design on handmade musical instruments and performance and recently built 29 instruments in 29 days as a personal project.
